Getting Started
If you are interested in treatment, please contact us.
We will respond to new patient inquiries within 1-2 business days.
IMPORTANT: If you are having a medical or psychiatric emergency including suicidal or homicidal thinking, side effects to medication, or any other urgent or time-sensitive matter in which you need an immediate response, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
Prior to beginning treatment, an introductory phone call (10 minutes) will be held to determine if Mentum Psychiatry might be the right fit for your specific reasons for seeking care.
Session Fees
Treatment fees will be discussed during the introductory phone call.
Insurance
Mentum Psychiatry, LLC is not in network with insurance, with the exception that Dr. Sanchez-Cruz accepts Columbia University Student Health Insurance (Columbia Aetna PPO Open Choice).
However, many companies offer out-of-network benefits, including reimbursement for psychiatric & psychotherapy treatment.
Prior to starting treatment, you may call your insurance company to inquire about your benefits and reimbursement, including your deductible and out-of-pocket maximum.
Over the course of treatment, your doctor can provide documentation (Superbills) that can be used to submit for reimbursement.
Privacy & Confidentiality
Mentum Psychiatry, LLC utilizes HIPAA-compliant software for receiving email, but cannot guarantee the privacy of information contained in electronic communications on the sender's end. Please do not transmit any confidential information through this means.
